Buses manufacturer placed an order for 260 CNG engines
Cummins Westport, a manufacturer of alternative fuel engines for commercial vehicles of United States, has announced that North American Bus Industries, a US-based bus manufacturer, has ordered 260 compressed natural gas CWI ISL G engines for its CompoBus series.
Guan Saw, president of Cummins Westport, said: “Production is underway to fill this significant order from North American Bus Industries (NABI). The ISL G engine continues to gain market share in the North American transit fleet.
“The ISL G offers operators the benefits of meeting Environmental Protection Agency 2010 emissions standards today, with the robust performance and reliability they require”.
