NGV's Rise to 1% of European Natural Gas Demand

According to Eurogas - the \"European Union of the Natural Gas Industry\" www.eurogas.org total 2008 sales of natural gas within Europe were 517 billion Nm3 ( see eurogas). Comparatively, NGVA Europe statistics estimate that by end of 2008 nearly 5 billion Nm3 of natural gas was used by European road vehicles, demonstrating that for the first time ever, this figure has reached 1% of the total natural gas usage in Europe.
