A WEALTH OF NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES-The second phase of the West-East Natural Gas Transmission Project, China’s largest energy project, was started from Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Shaanxi Province in February 2008 with involving an investment of 142.2 billion yuan. The 9,102km pipeline will straddle 14 provinces and regions to bring gas from the Tarim Basin and Central Asia to the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta as well as Central-south region. When the volume of gas exported reaches 30 billion cubic meters annually, it will do more that enhance the energy bases and industrial bases of China and be knocked on benefits to the energy consumption sector in the provinces it passes through. The pipeline will be built in two sections. By the end of 2009, one section of western part will be finished and the other section will be completed before 2011. Moreover, suppliers of appliances using the energy-saving and environment-friendly natural gas will also enjoy an unprecedented boom in production and sales.
VENUE-During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the China National Convention Center (CNCC) served as the International Broadcast and Media Center. The Center is located in the heart of Olympic Green development adjacent to the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube).

The Convention Center plenary hall can accommodate up to 6,000; the ballroom 3,500; all with about 100 breakout rooms.
The Exhibition Center comprises 24000m2 of gross exhibit space; generous foyer and pre-function space; self contained facilities and services. Largely column free, the 4 exhibition halls (6,000m2 each) will have a floor to ceiling clearance of 10 meters.
